The Amazon Wish List is a convenient way to share your wish list with friends and family—whether for birthdays, Christmas, or other occasions. We’ll show you how to easily create, manage, and share your wish list.
Sharing or sending your Amazon wish list – how it works
To create a wish list on Amazon, you must be logged into your Amazon account. You can then click on the “Add to list” button on any product page. This allows you to collect your desired products on one or more lists, which you can then share:
- You can find your wish list by moving the mouse pointer over Account & Lists in the top menu bar of Amazon and then clicking on Wish List. Then select the list from the overview.
- The default setting for the wish list is Private. This means that only you can see the list—for example, you can save items that you want to buy yourself later.
- To share or send a wish list, click on the + Invite button at the top or the Share icon to the left of the three dots. You can then choose whether you want to share the list with read-only access or read and write access.
- Read-only access: People can view your wish list via a link, but they cannot remove items or add new ones.
- Read and write access: People can view your list and also add and remove items.
- Click on Copy link to copy the link to your wish list to the clipboard. You can then send it by email, messenger, or other means.
- Via Invite by email opens a message in your default email program with a link that you can then send to other people.
