To download videos from Instagram, you need to use other apps. The procedure is always the same, but not every app can download the short clips to your Android smartphone or iPhone without problems.

You can download videos from Instagram in just a few steps, at least if they are public clips. However, this does not always work for private profiles. To download the videos, proceed as follows:
- Open the video in the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android smartphone.
- Tap the three small dots in the right corner of the menu and then tap “Link” or the paperclip icon.
- The video URL is now in your smartphone’s clipboard.
