inZOI: Current status of the multiplayer & future visions
The current state of the life simulation inZoOI is that it is a pure single-player experience.
- At its early access launch (March 2025), inZOI is a single-player game only. You can’t visit friends or create worlds together.
- However, the developers at Krafton emphasize that they are “considering” multiplayer options according to Games Hub – but specifically, these are not yet in the works.
- In the current roadmap, there are no announcements for 2025 as to when a multiplayer can be expected.
- However, if the community shows strong interest, Krafton could implement online features retrospectively.
- Tip: You can share your wishes in the official inZOI Discord – the developers are actively listening to feedback.
Planned possible multiplayer features
According to developer statements, the following options could come, as reported by gamepressure.com, among others:
- Visit mode: You invite friends into your world to experience activities together such as parties or dates.
- House sharing: Players could share their creations or control other people’s households (similar to The Sims).
- Mod support: The community could develop unofficial multiplayer mods, but only for PC.
- Important: A full co-op mode or even PvP elements are not planned – inZOI remains a peaceful life simulation game.
