You cannot easily restore your Amazon shopping cart. However, there are several ways to keep items in your shopping cart and save them.
How to prevent items from disappearing from your Amazon shopping cart
When you add items to your Amazon shopping cart, you should ideally be logged in to your user account. In this case, the items will remain stored there permanently, or until you make a purchase.
- Another advantage: once you are logged in, you can access your shopping cart on all devices. This means, for example, that an item you add to your shopping cart on your PC will also appear on your smartphone or tablet and in the Amazon app.
- If the shopping cart is empty or individual items are missing, you are probably not logged in or are logged in with the wrong user account. In this case, simply check your login details and log in.
- If an item is sold out, it will disappear from the shopping cart. However, you will receive a corresponding notification.
- However, if only the price changes, the item will not be removed. In this case, a message above the shopping cart will indicate that the price has decreased or increased.
- Important: If you use Amazon without logging in first, items placed in the shopping cart will only be temporarily stored as cookies. As soon as this cookie expires or is deleted, the items will disappear from the shopping cart. In this case, there is no way to restore them.
