If you no longer wish to use Opodo Prime, you can cancel your subscription in just a few steps. You can do this by phone, in your web browser, and now also via the app.

Canceling Opodo Prime: How to do it in your web browser

Opodo Prime offers members exclusive discounts on flights and hotels. If you are no longer interested in this offer, you can cancel your Opodo Prime subscription free of charge between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. by calling the Prime VIP customer support number. You can reach them at 03091589167. If you don’t like talking on the phone, you can also cancel online. Please note, however, that if you only delete your account, your subscription will continue and you will continue to be charged. You must therefore first cancel your Opodo Prime membership:

  • Go to the Opodo website. Log in to your customer account in the top right corner.

  • Click on your profile in the top right corner or go to “My Account.”

  • Select the “Prime” menu item there.

  • Look for the option “Cancel subscription” or “End membership.” If you follow the steps provided, you will need to confirm the cancellation at the end.

Cancel Opodo Prime via the app

If you have the Opodo app, you can also cancel via the app. To do this, first open the application.

  • Then navigate to your profile or settings.

  • There you will also find the “Prime” section.

  • You can complete the cancellation via the “Cancel your subscription” option.

  • After canceling, you will receive a confirmation email. Save it so that you can find it at any time as proof in case of discrepancies or problems.

Deadlines and problems with cancellation

If you wish to cancel your subscription to Opodo Prime, you can do so at any time according to the provider. However, if you do not cancel in time, retroactive cancellation is not possible.

  • Instead, your annual subscription will be extended for another year.

  • Please note, however, that the cancellation deadlines for Opodo Prime have changed several times in recent years. Before you cancel, you should therefore check the currently valid terms and conditions on the Opodo website so that you do not miss a new deadline.

  • As cancellations have not always been processed quickly enough in the past, it is advisable not to wait until the last minute to cancel your subscription. It is better to do so a few weeks before the expiry date.

  • If the cancellation option is not displayed in your account, please contact Opodo customer service as soon as possible.

  • If you are unable to resolve any issues with automatic renewal or a missing refund with Opodo after cancellation, you can contact the German Consumer Advice Center or the European Consumer Center Germany. These institutions offer legal advice and will help you enforce your claims.
