If you want to connect your Nintendo 3DS to your TV, you’ll unfortunately have to spend a lot of money. We’ll show you what options are available.
Nintendo 3DS: Connecting to a TV
- In theory, such a connection is possible, but the necessary equipment isn’t readily available. For several hundred euros, you can build the necessary devices yourself or buy them from hobbyists.
- Nintendo does have its own devices for demonstrations on TVs. However, these are likely not even sold to media outlets or Let’s Players.
- With the Nintendo 3DS Video Capture Board, the image from the 3DS can be streamed to a PC—after some modification—and recorded there. However, this modification also costs a hefty 300 euros.
