The best builds in Lords of the Fallen ensure that you are well equipped to take on the dangerous bosses.
Lords of the Fallen builds: Dark Inferno Crusader
With this build, you focus on pure power in attack and defense to take on the toughest bosses.
- The basis of the build is the Dark Crusader class. Then focus on the stats Strength, Endurance, and Vitality. The class already starts with the Paladin’s Amulet, which gives you an additional boost to these stats.
- You can completely ignore Agility, as this build allows you to play like a tank and take and deal a lot of damage. Two-handed weapons such as the Sword of Skin and Teeth are particularly effective, as they benefit greatly from high Strength in this Soulslike game.
- For the rest of your equipment, use the Paladin set, as well as the Adyrqamar rings for increased two-handed weapon damage and the Mine Owner’s Ring for a stamina boost. For your amulet, go with the Warrior’s Claw.
- It is also worth increasing your Ray skill. This will give you magic that you can use for ranged attacks in an emergency.
Lords of the Fallen Builds: Skilled Blackfeather Ranger
If you prefer a build for ranged attacks, the following combination is recommended in Lords of the Fallen:
- Select the Blackfeather Ranger as your class and focus primarily on agility and vitality when assigning skills in the game. Strength and magic are secondary, so you can invest additional points in endurance.
- To deal high damage from a distance, use the Blackfeather armor set, the Assassin’s Bow, and the Swords of the Bringer of Silence for both hands. This will wear down your enemies from any distance.
- Last but not least, equip the Pendant of Hardening for higher defense and the following rings: Grayson’s Ring for more damage when wielding two weapons and the Mine Owner’s Ring.
Lords of the Fallen Builds: Inferno Fire Cultist
Of course, a mage build for Lords of the Fallen cannot be missing here. The Inferno Fire Cultist deals high fire damage that is not to be trifled with.
- Select the Fire Cultist and focus on the Inferno, Endurance, and Vitality stats. The main skill must be Inferno, ideally with a value above 30.
- Use the armor set from the NPC Damarose, the Fire Cultist’s Staff or Flail as your primary weapon, and the Corrupted Sword of Justicia Clerica if you want to be a combat mage. The Ring of Infernal Sacrifice is the ideal amulet for this build.
- For rings, use the Ring with Adyr’s Mark to increase the Inferno skill, as well as the Ring of Infernal Devotion. This deals fire damage over time. You can arrange the spells yourself, as you have a lot of leeway here.
Lords of the Fallen Builds: Toxic Chaos
One of the nasty builds in Lords of Fallen is Toxic Chaos, which poisons your enemies and slowly bleeds them out.
- Use the Dark Crusader again as the basis for this build. Choose your armor as you like, as the main focus of your equipment is the weapon.
- You will need the Halberd of the Silenced Saint. You can obtain this from Molhu when you bring the Merchant the Keepsake of the Silenced Saint.
- The Halberd of the Silenced Saint not only deals high weapon damage, but also poisons your enemies with 150 points of toxicity. The length of the weapon allows you to attack from a safe distance and build up the poison.
- You will also need the spells Latimer’s Throwing Spear, Pestilence Blade, and Decay. These Umbral spells increase the toxic effect many times over.
- Add the finishing touch to the build with the Blood Curse Ring, which you can find in the Abandoned Moor. The ring causes bleeding damage when the enemy is poisoned, which significantly increases the effectiveness of the build.
- Equip the Pendant of Burden, which you can also find in the Abandoned Moor. This increases the damage dealt with each status effect.
