Many players want crossplay in Peak so they can climb mountain peaks together with others on different platforms.
Peak: Crossplay is not supported
Peak has a multiplayer mode that you can only enjoy with your Steam friends.
- Crossplay is not offered by the game. This is not surprising, as the humorous climbing simulation is only available for Windows systems via Steam.
- Since there are no Mac or console versions, all players must purchase the co-op climbing game via Steam and play it on a Windows PC. This is the only way to climb virtual mountain peaks together.
- At this time, the developer studio has no plans for versions on other platforms. This may change in the future, but no further information is available at this time.
Start a multiplayer game in Peak without crossplay
Despite the lack of crossplay, multiplayer can be started with just a few clicks.
- Please note: If you want to experience the outdoor climbing co-op experience with others, this is only possible with friends. Therefore, add your friends to your Steam friends list beforehand.
- One person hosts and invites others. To do this, start a game in the main menu via Host Game and wait until you arrive at the terminal.
- Then go to the Invite Kiosk, which is located near the elevator. Press [E] to invite friends.
- Your Steam friends list will now open and show you all contacts who are currently online. Click on the people you want to invite.
- They must now confirm your invitation to join the game. They will also arrive via the elevator in the terminal.
