In “The Sims 4,” you can bake a birthday cake. This is ideal for celebrating a birthday party or letting your Sims grow older.

Baking a birthday cake in Sims 4: Here’s how

In just a few simple steps, your Sim can bake their own cake in the game. You can choose from a wedding cake or a birthday cake, among other options. Sims can bake both cakes even if they don’t have good cooking skills. However, this can affect the quality, so it’s always worth improving your skills.

• Select the refrigerator.

• Click on “Cook” and choose a cake, such as “Chocolate Cake” or “White Cake.” Both cost 15 Simoleons each.

• If you have the ingredients flour, milk or egg, and sugar (white cake) or flour, milk or egg, and chocolate berries or chocolate syrup (chocolate cake), you can bake the cake for less or even for free.

• Have your Sim make the cake and click on it once it’s ready. Then select “Add Birthday Candles,” which costs ten Simoleons. Your birthday cake is now ready and can be used right away at the party.

What the birthday cake is good for in “The Sims 4”

You can do various things in The Sims with a birthday cake. You can simply eat the cake to satisfy your Sims’ hunger, but there are other things you can do with it:

• Throw a birthday party to make your Sims happy. Your Sims will be delighted when you plan a party using the calendar.

• The cost here is at least 100 Simoleons and may incur additional costs depending on additional services (catering, bar, and entertainment). A cake is usually required for the party in order to complete the tasks.

• The birthday cake also has a special feature, as it can be used to make your Sims older. Simply click on the decorated cake and select “Blow out candles,” “Make a wish,” or “Taste the frosting.” In all three cases, your Sim will age.
