You can change your name on eBay Classifieds. This can make your ad appear more reputable and successful. We will show you the steps required to make the change.
Changing your name on eBay Classifieds – all the steps
To change your name on an ad, go to the settings for the ad in question.
- First, open eBay Classifieds and log in with your email address and password.
- Click on “My” in the top right-hand corner to access your active ads.
- Click on “Edit” under the ad you want to edit.
- Here you can change any information in your ad. If you scroll down, you will find the ‘Name’ field under “Seller details.”
- Enter the name you want to appear in the ad here.
- Confirm the changes by clicking “Save Ad.”
Changing your name in the eBay Kleinanzeigen app
You can also change your name in the eBay Classifieds app.
- Open the app and log in.
- Select the menu icon in the top left corner and then tap “My ads.”
- Tap the pencil icon below the ad you want to edit.
- At the bottom of the page, you will see your name as it has been displayed on your ad. Tap it and then select your name again under Contact Details.
- Here you can change your name and enter your address.
