PayPal: Requesting money – this is how it works

If you want to request money with PayPal, you have two options: Either you request money privately from your friends or you create an invoice that you send to your customers as a seller. We will explain both options to you.

Request money with PayPal: How to get the amount from friends

To request money from your friends, they don’t necessarily have to have PayPal. We will explain how it all works below:

– First, log in to PayPal with your access data. This works both in the browser and in the PayPal app.

– In the browser, click on the round icon at the top, under which it says “Request”. In the app, you’ll find a similar button in the bottom bar.

– Here you have the option to request money using a “PayPal.Me” link. Select the “Share link” option.

– If you have never used the function before, you must first create the PayPal.Me link and set up your profile. After that, you can use the link to request money at any time.

– Tip: If you would like to receive a specific amount of money, enter a slash after your name in the link. Then enter the desired amount behind it. If a contact clicks on this link, they will see directly how much money you would like to have.

Request money with PayPal as a seller

If you are a salesperson and use PayPal mainly for business benefit, you should use a business account for your invoices. With a private account, however, these can also be created.

-Log in to PayPal an.

-Select “Send money” at the top and then click “Request”.

-Select “Create Invoice” on the right. Wear all the necessary Information one. The billing address is particularly important so that the payment request also arrives at the customer.

-Once you have completed everything, click on “Send” to send the invoice.

-Since this is a business money requirement, the PayPal Protection intervene.
