How to reach Microsoft Support
If you need help with a Microsoft product, you can simply contact support online. You can also contact the Microsoft customer service telephone hotline with general questions.
- First log in to the Microsoft support website with your Microsoft customer data . Then select the product for which you need help, for example Office, Windows or Xbox;
- You will then be redirected to a page that shows you the right contact points for your request. As a rule, you can choose whether you want to clarify the problem by chat or telephone.
- If you want to contact the general Microsoft hotline, dial 0180 – 6672255. The cost of the service number is manageable at 20 cents per call from a landline and a maximum of 60 cents per call from a mobile phone.
- If you are unable to activate a Microsoft product with the enclosed code, you have the option of calling the two toll-free numbers 00800 – 22848283 and 0800 – 2848283.

The well-designed Help and Support page is particularly useful for more complex technical questions about a Microsoft product.
- On the Microsoft support page, you will find detailed instructions and answers to questions in many sections that may already be able to solve your problem. In the search field “How can we help you”, you can enter further keywords to search for possible solutions.
- On X Microsoft Support also shares numerous tips and tricks about the products. However, it is better not to submit your official request via the social network, but via the website.
Microsoft Store – how to contact the hotline
Microsoft has set up its own toll-free telephone number for the Microsoft Store.
- To contact the Microsoft Store, dial 0800 – 8088014.
- The Microsoft Store hotline is staffed from Monday to Friday between 8 am and 8 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
