The Golden Butterfly is well hidden in Astro Bot. To catch it, you need to be quick and a good jumper.
Catching the Golden Butterfly in Astro Bot: Location
The Golden Butterfly in the hit platformer Astro Bot is hidden in the level Monkey Mayhem.
- Start the level as usual. Equip yourself with the handy butterfly net so you can catch the rare butterfly.
- Follow the normal path until you reach the island with the huge monkey statue in the centre. This is where the Golden Butterfly is hiding.
- Walk round the statue until you reach its back side. You should now see a platform ahead of you, which you can reach via a ladder. Head towards it.
- To the left and right of the platform, you’ll see a round bush on either side. Swing your net at the right-hand bush to lure the Golden Butterfly out of its hiding place.
- Now all you have to do is catch it. As a reward, you’ll receive the Net Profit trophy and a whole heap of coins.
Catching the Golden Butterfly in Astro Bot: Tips
If you’re having trouble catching the Golden Butterfly in Astro Bot, these tips might help:
- Don’t run after it in a straight line. The butterfly is just a little bit faster than you.
- The Golden Butterfly follows a fixed path, which you should make the most of. On its way, the insect flies close to the statue, which features raised platforms and grind rails.
- This platformer makes it quite easy for you to catch the Golden Butterfly. Jump from the platforms or the grind rails towards the insect.
- As you jump, swing [R2] the net to catch it. You’ll probably need a few goes, but don’t give up.
