The Switch 2 brings a number of new features and improved functions to the handheld device.

• The controllers: The new Joy-Con 2 controllers now snap into place magnetically and can be used like a PC mouse. The old Joy-Cons can still be used. The Pro Controllers now have a matte finish and two customizable additional buttons on the back.

• Chat function: The Switch 2 also offers a new feature called “GameChat.” There is a new button for this. With the additional purchase of a camera, you can also use the video chat function.

• Share games: The new “GameShare” feature also allows you to share games from the Switch 2 with other people on their Switch or Switch 2 and play together without them having to own the title.

Other new features of the Switch 2

In addition to new functions, the Switch 2 also offers several technical and graphical features that have been improved compared to the previous version.

• The Switch 2 is larger than the Nintendo Switch.

• It has a second USB-C port and a more stable stand.

• In handheld mode, you can now play games in Full HD resolution.

• The docking station also allows you to play games in 4K resolution at 60 FPS, provided your TV supports this.
