Registering and logging in to Instagram – here’s how

To use Instagram, you must register and sign up for the social media platform.

The easiest way to do this is via the app.

First, download the Instagram app, which is available for iOS and Android. Then open it.

1. You will be asked to confirm Meta’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. You can now log in or create a new account. Click on the button to start creating your account.
3. Now you can enter either your phone number or email address to register. Then confirm your entry with Continue. A confirmation code will be sent to your number or email address, which you can enter in the app.
4. Enter all the required information, such as your username and date of birth, and set a secure password. After clicking Continue, the registration is complete.
5. You are now automatically logged into your account and can use it for social media marketing, for example.

Logging in to Instagram: How to do it

Once you have registered with Instagram, you can log in to your account at any time using your login details.

• In the app, click on the Log in button. Here you can enter your phone number or email address that you used to register with Instagram, as well as your password.
• In your browser, you can either log in via Facebook or with the account you created. Both options will log you in.
• If you have forgotten your email address, you can also enter your username or your phone number instead.
• If you have forgotten your Instagram password, tap Forgot your password?. A code will then be sent to the contact details you have provided, which you can use to reset your password.
