How to verify your Discord server

If you meet the requirements, you can request verification of your Discord server by following the steps below.

  • First, go to the Discord verification web page.
  • If you are not already logged into the browser, log in with your Discord account.
  • In the next step, select the theme of your server. So you can choose between company, e-sports or public figure among others.
  • Followed by entering your personal name and the server name.
  • Further you name the website to which the server should be linked and specify a permanent invitation link for your server.
  • After that, check the box to agree to the Discord Terms of Use.
  • Last, click Submit to submit your application to Discord for a verified server.

Verification levels on Discord servers

After your server has been verified, you can enable the Verification Levels option under Moderation in the server settings. This will allow you to set which members can post messages to the server and act against bots in the following five levels.

  • None: With this setting, any server member can write messages without any restrictions.
  • Low: To send messages, members must have a verified email address on their Discord account.
  • Medium: At this level, users must be registered on Discord for at least 5 minutes.
  • High: In this setting, members must have joined the Discord server for more than 10 minutes.
  • High: In the highest level, members must have a verified phone number on your Discord account.
