Delete Meta AI from WhatsApp: Is that even possible?

First, the bad news: It is currently not possible to completely deactivate Meta AI. However, there are a few tricks you can use to at least banish the AI assistant from your chat list:

• Archive chat: Swipe the Meta AI chat in your chat list to the left and tap “Archive.” This will move the chat to your archived chats and it will no longer be directly visible.

• Delete chat: Swipe left on the Meta AI chat in your chat list and tap “More” (on Android) or “Delete” (on iOS). Confirm your selection to remove the chat from your WhatsApp chat list.

• It is important to understand that deleting or archiving the Meta AI chat does not completely remove or disable the feature from WhatsApp. These actions only hide the chat from your direct view.
