Top up PayPal with Paysafecard?
With the online payment service PayPal, you can conveniently make cashless payments on the internet as well as send and receive money. However, PayPal does not currently support Paysafecard. It is not officially possible to top up PayPal directly with Paysafecard. We will show you the alternatives PayPal offers:
- Direct debit: Direct debit is a particularly easy way to pay. You can make purchases with your PayPal account in just a few clicks, and PayPal will automatically withdraw the money from your bank account.
- Credit card: The same applies to your credit card. Here, too, the amount to be paid is automatically debited from your registered credit card.
- Bank transfer: With a bank transfer, you can control the balance of your PayPal account yourself. First, you transfer money to your PayPal account, which is then available for you to use.
- Warning: Do not use any unofficial top-up methods via betting providers or third-party sites, including the associated risks and fees.
Top up PayPal indirectly with Paysafecard
There are actually indirect ways to top up your PayPal account with a Paysafecard. However, it should be noted that your money will pass through several online accounts. Whether this is secure is questionable.
- First, you need an online account with a provider that accepts Paysafecard and immediate payouts to PayPal: Most betting services such as tipico.de offer this service online.
- Please note, however, that you may have to place a bet before you can withdraw the amount. If this is the case, you can place a bet of, for example, €1 on a sure winner.
- The PayPal fees for receiving a payment are currently 1.9% + €0.35.
- Online betting services also often charge a withdrawal fee. So bear in mind that you will lose money there too.
