You can block certain websites on the iPhone. This is especially helpful if you want to protect your children’s phones from adult content.
How to Block Websites on Your iPhone
You can easily block individual websites on your iPhone.
- To do this, go to Settings on your iPhone.
- Under Screen Time , you’ll find the “Restrictions” setting.
- Tap the button to enable it, then go to “App Store, Media, Web, and Games.”
- Under “Web Content,” you can choose from various options. In addition to unrestricted access, you’ll also find the option “Only family-friendly websites.” This allows Apple to automatically filter out many adult-oriented websites.
- If you’d like to exclude additional websites, you can do so under “Never Allow.” You can also “Always Allow” specific websites.
- If you want to explicitly allow only certain websites, select “Approved Websites Only.” Here, Apple provides a list of common websites. You can delete these by swiping left or add more at the bottom.
- This allows you to easily restrict which websites can be accessed on the phone and thus make it child-safe.
