If you want to convert several images in JPG format into a single PDF file, you can do so using online tools or software. We’ll introduce you to some suitable programmes.
Converting multiple JPGs to PDF online: Using online tools
If you have images in JPG format and want to convert them to a PDF, the easiest way to do this is via websites such as PDF24 Tools.
- Here, you can drag and drop the images you want into the drop zone. Alternatively, click on ‘Select files’ and choose the images manually. Hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple images at once.
- Next, adjust the order of the images. Below this, you can specify the page format for the converted PDF file. You can choose from various templates or specify a custom page size.
- You can also convert all JPG files into a single PDF file each. To do this, untick the box next to “Merge”.
- Once you are happy with the settings, click the “Convert” button. You can download the converted file using the “Download” button.
- Please note that your files must be uploaded to the server for conversion. However, according to PDF24, your files are completely deleted from the system after a short time, ensuring your security.
- If you do not wish to upload your files, you can use the PDF24 software and work offline. The procedure is the same.
- However, the online version has the advantage that you can also use it on your smartphone and tablet. This method is therefore convenient if you want the conversion to be quick and straightforward.
Converting images to PDF using software: Here’s how
- First, open one of the images in Adobe Acrobat. To do this, right-click on the file and select ‘Open with’ followed by ‘Adobe Acrobat’.
- To add further images, click on ‘Merge Files’ and then ‘Add’ in the toolbar on the left.
- Select the desired files and, once they have been imported, click on “Merge” in the top right-hand corner.
- If you wish to reorder the JPG files, select the “Manage Pages” tool.
- To save the PDF file, click on ‘File’ at the top and then ‘Save’. You can now specify the save location and name. Clicking ‘Save’ will save the PDF file to your computer.
