The simplest Anno 1404 cheat is to get gems by renaming your ships. However, be careful, because using two names will cause the game to flag you as a cheater. If you want to do without cheats for the time being, tips for Anno 1404 are especially helpful for beginners.
- Avoid using the names Nautilus for your ship and Bonanza Creek for your trading post, as the game recognizes that you are cheating after you rename them.
