Problems with Fortnite: How to find out if the servers are down
If the servers are down for maintenance or updates, unfortunately, the only thing you can do is be patient. To determine if this is the case, follow these steps.
- Check Downdetector to see if Fortnite is currently not working for other players. If this is the case, there is nothing you can do but wait. Alternatively, you can check Allestörungen.de for information.
- If no one else is having problems, you can also check Fortnite’s official Twitter account. Server maintenance and other outages are usually announced here.
- If you are the only one experiencing this problem, it may help to restart your PC and router. You can then try logging into Fortnite again.
