With the Nintendo Switch, you have to insert the games correctly, otherwise they won’t work and you can break your device.

Before you insert a game into your Nintendo Switch, you should make sure that it is actually intended for the device. Otherwise, you may quickly damage the device.

• Open the cover of the slot intended for the card. This is located on the top right of the Nintendo Switch.

• In order to insert the game card, it must be inserted with the label facing upwards, i.e. towards the screen. Otherwise, you will not be able to insert the card properly into the slot.

• Slide the Nintendo Switch game card into the slot. It will be firmly seated as soon as it clicks into place and you hear a click.

• Once you have done everything correctly, you will see the game icon on the Switch’s home screen and can now play. Before you start, however, you should have set up the device. If your Nintendo console does not turn on, it could be due to a defect.
