With Windows, it can happen that printing a document does not start, but the print job cannot be deleted either
Print job cannot be deleted: How to proceed
First you must stop the “Print queue” service.
- Open the dialog for executing programs with [Win] + [R]. You can also find “Run” via the Windows Start menu.
- Enter “services.msc” to display the PC’s services.
- Right-click on the “Print queue” service and click on “Exit”.
- Then delete the file to be printed from the temporary printer memory. To do this, open the path in Explorer: C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS and delete the files in the folder.

Finally, start the “Print queue” service.
- Open the Windows services as described above by sending the command “services.msc” via “Run” in the Start menu or the key combination [Win] + [R].
- After right-clicking on the “Print queue” service, click on “Start”.
