Opera: How to view your history

by Pramith

You can view your history in Opera with just a few clicks. There’s even a simple keyboard shortcut to access your browsing history in the browser.

Viewing your Opera history: in the browser, in the app and with keyboard shortcuts

Depending on whether you are using Opera on your smartphone or laptop, there are different ways to access your history:

  • Keyboard shortcut: A simple keyboard shortcut is enough in the browser. If you have a MacBook, press the keys [Cmd] + [Shift] + [H]. For Linux and Windows users, the keyboard shortcut is even easier – just press [Ctrl] + [H].

  • Browser: Alternatively, go to the menu bar on the left side of the browser and then click the clock symbol – this will open your browser history and you can manage your browsing history. Click on “Show full history view” to use the advanced history management features.

  • App: As an app user, select the three-line menu in the menu bar at the bottom of the open app. Then click on “History” to view your browser history and manage your history.
