iPhone: Activate automatic time change

Your iPhone offers the automatic time change function. If you don’t want to do the time change yourself every six months or change time zones often, it is helpful to enable this feature

Enable automatic time change on iPhone

On most newer models, the automatic time change works all by itself. If it doesn’t work for you, you should follow these steps:

• Navigate to the settings menu of your iPhone.
• Tap on the menu item “General”.
• Select “Date & Time” there.
• Now select the function “Set automatically”.
• The time zone is also selected automatically. Enabled location services improve the accuracy of the time zones on iPhone, but are not mandatory.
