Microsoft Teams: How to record a meeting

In Microsoft Teams, you can easily record a meeting. You can set this up in just a few minutes. We have summarised for you how this works and what you need to bear in mind.

This is how you record a meeting in Microsoft Teams

To have a video call ready later, you can also record an important meeting in Microsoft Teams.

• To record a meeting, go to “More options” ☻ “Start recording” in the controls. The conversation will now be recorded.

• If you want to stop the recording, go to “More options” ☻ “Stop recording” in the same way.

• Start a recording and all participants in the Microsoft Teams meeting will be notified of the recording.

• This means that each participant does not have to make a recording independently, as the meeting is recorded centrally. This is then available to all users in the Microsoft Stream and is stored in the cloud.

• For privacy reasons, you should inform all participants in the meeting about the recording and make sure that all participants agree to it.
