Uninstall Windows Live Mail

Uninstall Windows Live Mail in just a few steps. Support for this programme has since been discontinued by Microsoft.

These instructions apply to Windows 7 as well as Windows Live Essentials 2011.

– Click on the “Windows Button” (formerly “Start”) at the bottom left of the task bar and open the “Control Panel ”

– Select the menu item “Programs” ☻ “Uninstall a program”.

– Scroll down and double-click to open the “Windows Live Essentials” entry.

– To remove the software now, tick “Uninstall” and click “Next”.

– Then select “Mail” and confirm with “Next”. The programme will now be removed.

– When finished, you can end the uninstallation by clicking “OK”.
