Install the Clash of Clans Update
In the Finnish building simulation game, there are two types of updates that make the gameplay easier and more beautiful.
- Optional updates include visual patches, for example to add snow animation in winter.
- Regulatory balance updates involve the Finnish developers modifying combat and defence values of troops and buildings. The aim of this type of CoC update is to achieve fair gameplay.
- CoC players with buildings, troops and spells at maximum upgrade level are eagerly awaiting the new Town Hall update so they can further upgrade their village.
- When updates are needed, you will receive a notification when you start the game that will direct you to the Clash of Clans update.
Fast help with problems after CoC update
After any kind of update, Clash of Clans may experience temporary outages. There are typical difficulties with practical solutions suggested:
- On Android as well as iOS, it can happen that you are notified of an update in CoC. Following the button will take you to the Google Play Store or App Store. After tapping on “Install”, however, you will return to the game without the CoC update starting.
- In other cases, the latest CoC patch can be installed, but the problem described above only occurs when the “Play” button is tapped. So you jump back and forth between Game and Store.
- Close Clash of Clans and check in the App Store whether the update is completely installed. Then try to start the app again. Restarting your phone may also help.
