The potential transfer of Steam games is interesting for users who no longer want to have certain games in their library.
Steam: The ability to transfer games
If you want to not only move your Steam games to another hard drive, but transfer them completely to another account.
- Steam does not allow the transfer of already purchased content to third parties. It does not matter if it is your secondary account.
- Games in your Steam library also do not count as Steam gifts and therefore cannot be transferred. To gift games, you must purchase it as a gift at checkout.
- This also applies to accounts within the family library. It only allows sharing of games between each other.
