V Rising: Find or craft grinding stones – here’s how.

Grinding stones in V Rising are an important crafting resource. They can initially only be found in the game world, but you can also craft them in the course of the game.

V Rising: Grinding Stones can be found in Bandit Camps

Grinding Stones are essential for upgrading copper weapons in V Rising. The resource can be found at the beginning of the game, but later you can also craft it yourself.

• Grinding stones can be found in bandit camps that appear at various locations in the Farbane forests. Enemies, chests and other containers drop grinding stones.
• Use the map and hold the mouse over a bandit camp to read what resources are there to be looted. Here you can see if grinding stones can also be found.

Crafting grinding stones: prerequisite and costs

If you don’t want to farm grinding stones, you can craft them.

• You can get the recipe for grinding stones from Weaponsmith Grayson (level 27). The boss is in the Bandit Armoury (Farbane Woods).
• For grinding stones you need the following items:12 x Stone Dust and 1 x Copper Ingot.
• If you have placed your smelting furnace on a forge floor, the number of stone dust required is reduced to 9. This will save you resources in the long run.
