To restrict which people see your BeReals, you can specifically remove friends on the platform. We show you how to do this

BeReal: How to remove friends

To remove friends on the BeReal platform, you must perform the following steps:

• First of all, open the BeReal app:

• Then click on the friend icon at the top left of the start page.

• Then select Connections in the bottom tab to access your list of friends.

• Under My friends you can now call up the profile you wish to remove.

• On the profile page, tap on the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner and select Delete friend.

• Finally, press Delete to remove the person from your BeReal profile.

Blocking friends on BeReal: How to proceed

In addition to removal, BeReal also offers the option of blocking profiles completely. They will then not see any posts or reactions from you and can no longer send friend requests. To do this, proceed as follows:

• First open the BeReal app and click on the friend icon in the top left-hand corner.

• Then navigate to Connections in the bottom column.

• Then call up the desired profile under My friends.

• In the next step, click on the 3 dots at the top right and then on block post.

• Confirm your action last to activate the blocking.
