You can save Telegram voice messages directly on the device you are using, for example to share them with other contacts.
Save Telegram voice message: Important information
Voice messages in Telegram can be saved so that they can be used later. The process depends on the end device used.
- If you are using an Android device, you will find the voice messages automatically saved in the Telegram Audio folder within the Telegram directory. Open the folder to gain access to the voice messages
- Save Telegram voice messages on iOS devices by holding down the desired message for a long time. A dropout menu opens. You can then use the Select option to save the voice message by exporting it, for example as a file in your Downloads folder.
- The process is similar for the web version of Telegram. To do this, open the chat and select the voice message by right-clicking on it. In the drop-down menu, you will find the Download option to download the voice message
- If you are using the desktop app, you will find the Save as… button in the dropout menu instead of the Download option. button in the drop-down menu. This allows you to specify the exact file path under which the voice message should be saved.
- Important: Telegram voice messages are saved in .ogg format. You need a suitable program to open or convert the file.
