To change your profile picture in Microsoft Teams, all it takes is a few clicks. You can delete or replace the old profile picture
Change your profile picture in Microsoft Teams: Instructions
If you are no longer satisfied with your current profile picture in Microsoft Teams, proceed as follows:
- Open Microsoft Teams and navigate to your current profile picture. By default, you will find it at the top right:
- Click on your profile picture. A submenu will open with your name and e-mail address.
- You must now click on your profile picture again to change it. You can recognize this by the photo symbol above the picture as soon as you hover over it with the cursor.
- Now you can delete your profile picture or upload a new one and use it directly. Finally, all you have to do is save it
- Important: The new profile picture is synchronized with all Microsoft 365 applications.
Microsoft Teams: Change profile picture in the app
You can also change your profile picture in Microsoft Teams within the app.
- If you are using an Android device, open the app first. Then locate the More button, recognizable by the three dashes.
- Then select the Edit picture option. You can now replace the current profile picture with a new one and delete the old one.
- If you are using an iOS device instead, you can find the option by clicking on the current profile picture. Alternatively, simply click on your initials.
- Then search for your profile name and select it. You can now update your profile picture by clicking on Update photo.
