If your Apple Watch no longer vibrates, there can be various causes for this. In most cases, the problem can be fixed in the settings.
Apple Watch no longer vibrates: troubleshooting
Vibration alerts are one of the most important features of the Apple Watch. To turn them back on, first go to the main menu of your model.
- In the main menu, navigate to the settings and there you will find the tones & haptics. This submenu allows you to set the vibration configurations.
- Within the submenu, look for the Haptic hint option. Normally, this option is enabled. If not, enable it.
- Further it is possible to set the intensity of the vibration. To do this, select either the “Striking” or “Prominent” option.
- If this method does not work, restart the wrist detection. If it hangs, vibrations are suppressed. Wrist detection can be turned on and off in the Code submenu within the general settings.
