Furby: Its reputation for value is better than reality
The first Furby hit the market in 1998—that garish, plush creature with a beak and googly eyes that communicated with its “owner” in a language all its own.

Higher Value for Certain Versions
If you’re thinking about that Furby sitting in your basement and seeing dollar signs in your eyes, you should stay realistic. You generally won’t get rich by selling Furbys.
- A quick look at eBay or Etsy shows that most of the little creatures listed are offered for modest sums between 15 and 50 euros.
- However, there are certain editions where prices are higher. If these special editions are also offered in their original packaging, you can at least look forward to a three-digit amount.
