To delete your DALL-E account, you have to take a little detour. At the moment this only works by sending a message to OpenAI.

Delete DALL-E account: How to do it

If you do not want to use the AI DALL-E anymore, you can delete your account. However, keep in mind that your generated works will be lost if you deactivate your account. In order for you to say goodbye to DALL-E, you will have to take a detour:

• Log in to your Open AI account at this link.

• Scroll down and click on the “Chat with us” button at the very bottom right under the “Support” heading.

• Scroll down and click on “Ask a question”. Select “Account deletion” for the question “What brings you here today? “

• Click “Delete my account” and follow the chatbot’s further instructions. Indicate if you use ChatGPT and want to delete this account as well. Click “No” and the bot will ask again if you are sure you want your DALL-E account to be deleted.

• Confirm this step with “Yes, delete my account” and specify the reason why you want to delete your account.

• It may take one to two weeks for your account to be deleted.

There is a second way you can proceed when deleting your account:

• Log in as described above and open the chat under “Chat with us “

• But instead of clicking on “Ask a question”, also go to “Search for help” and enter “deletion”, “delete” or “account deletion” there.
