Search and find a Telegram group: Options

Telegram allows you to create very large groups. The maximum number of members is 200,000. Depending on whether a group is public or not, it can be found using the internal search function.

• Open the Telegram app and tap on the magnifying glass icon in the top right-hand corner. Then enter the exact name of the group
• If a group is private, however, this method does not work. In this case, you must have an invitation link to join the group.
• Alternatively, there are also some channels on Telegram that list groups on different topics. One of these is t.me/groups.
• Here you can click through different topics such as politics, philosophy & religion or knowledge & technology. Once you have found a group that appeals to you, you can join it using the invitation link provided.
• Another option are special websites such as tlgrm.eu, which list channels and groups. You can use the search function to search for the desired keywords.
