Shotcut: How to insert music

To insert an audio file, like music, in the Shotcut video editing program, follow these steps: Transitions can also be easily inserted. Proceed as follows:

• Click the menu button with the three dashes. You will find it in the upper timeline in the left corner.

• Select “Select Audio File”.

• Drag the music file to the Shotcut window or Shotcut playlist.

• From here you can continue to use the music file. For example, you can now drag it into the video timeline to add music to the video.

• You can also easily insert transitions.
