In this practical tip, we will show you how to create a shortcut for web pages on the desktop.
How to link web pages to the desktop
- Open a web page and resize the window.
- Now drag the icon in front of the URL to the desktop (see picture). While for Firefox this is a globe, for Internet Explorer it is the IE icon.
- You have already created the shortcut with this: Double-click on the desktop icon and the associated web page will open.
