Disposing of perfume: What you need to know

There are perfumes for women and men, whether floral, fresh, robust, or tart. If you no longer like the fragrance you have been using or are just opening your second bottle, you should know what happens to the empty perfume bottle. First of all, you should not dispose of the bottles in your household waste.

• Perfume is made up of a mixture of different substances. However, they contain small amounts of harmful substances that pollute our environment.
• Therefore, never dispose of your perfume leftovers in the drain.

The perfume should be completely used up. Perfume bottles often have a plastic spray head. This can usually be easily unscrewed.
