The Lost Delivery in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a side mission in the wilderness. It starts north of the Destroyed Village
Baldur’s Gate 3: Find the Lost Delivery
Once you start the quest in Baldur’s Gate 3, travel further north.
- You come across a cave with a horde of gnolls. You can attack them directly to clear the way to the delivery. However, the fight is not easy and the leader Filind is not to be trifled with.
- You can make things easier for yourself by keeping to the east from the cave and crossing the stone bridge. From there, head west until you find a climbable cliff. Climb up
- You are now at the back of the gnolls and hyenas. Move towards Filind and your mind flayer parasite will report back. The gnoll leader is also infected
- Try to dominate Filind to attack the other gnolls. She is very strong and makes short work of her pack. Afterwards, you can send Filind away, fight her or make her eat herself
- Ideally, you should kill Filind or make the gnoll eat itself. You can then loot the mind flayer parasite
- In addition, you will now find the survivors under Rugan and Olly in the cave, as well as the missing delivery. Talk to Rugan
Delayed delivery in Baldur’s Gate 3: Completion options
Once you have found the Lost Delivery, there are four ways to complete the quest:
- You can help the survivors transport the shipment to the Zhentarim hideout in Waukeen’s Rest. This will give you Rugan’s password to the hideout. Make your way there and Zarys will reward you with a special crossbow and a nice sum of gold afterwards
- Alternatively, you can pay for the delivery to Waukeen’s Rest. Although Rugan dislikes this option, you will receive more gold and the same reward as if you simply help the survivors
- You can also make a deal with Rugan to split the delivery between the survivors and your group. By doing so, however, you make an enemy of the Zhentarim. You must then convince the mercenary company or kill Rugan on their behalf to avoid becoming a target.
- If you want to claim the delivery for yourself, kill Rugan, Olly and the survivors. You can then deliver it to the Zhentarim or open the crates. To do this, you must pick the lock with a difficulty of 20.
- Inside are 18 gold pieces, a crystal and an iron bottle. Open the bottle and free an observer who can finish you off quickly. Alternatively, you can use the watcher to sic him on other enemies
