Get hardwood in Coral Island: Methods
If you are looking for hardwood in Coral Island, there are several sources available to you:
- Hardwood can sometimes be found in Coral Island in the destructible chests inside the ocean cave. All you need is a bit of luck
- Alternatively, you can buy hardwood for 150 coins per piece. This is possible at the carpenter after you have obtained town rank B.
- Otherwise, you will need at least one Golden Axe to cut down the huge tree trunks. You will need to upgrade your silver axe at the Sanchez brothers for this
- You can get the upgrade for a price of 10,000 coins. You will also need three gold bars and five pieces of hardwood. Simply buy the hardwood from the carpenter.
- Gold bars can be crafted from five pieces of gold ore and one piece of coal using the smelting furnace. You can create a gold bar from three silver bars using the slime of transformation. It is also possible to create several gold bars from one gold bar using the slime of replication.
- Once you have the required axe, look out for large tree trunks. They look like normal wood, only much larger. You will find these on your plot right at the start.
- You will discover another one on the way to the waterfall. In the forest you will regularly find logs that respawn again and again. You can only access these after you have made six offerings at the lake temple
- After 14 offerings, you will unlock the deeper part of the forest. In this part you will find more hardwood deposits.
