Skippy is more than just a weapon in Cyberpunk 2077. When you pick up the gun, it first introduces itself to you. What follows is a cool, if short, questline.
Cyberpunk 2077: Here you will find Skippy
To find the weapon Skippy in Cyberpunk 2077, you need to go to Heywood. For this, we recommend doing a few main and side quests first until you are at least level 25.
- In the east of the Night City district you will find Vista Del Rey. Here you should see a question mark on the map marking an undiscovered location.
- Right click on this marker, then drive past it. Park your vehicle in front of the stacks of newspapers leading to the alley, then climb over the grating.
- There is an unidentified body lying among the bins. Scan this and you will be shown that this is a possible murder victim. Next to it is an open briefcase with a gun: Skippy.
Modes and questline of Skippy
Skippy is more than just a talking gun. You can use the gun to make aiming at enemies a lot easier. But there’s a twist:
- Modes: After Skippy introduces herself to you, the gun gives you a choice. In “Kitten-Loving Pacifist”, the gun will automatically aim at your enemies’ legs. If you choose “Ice Cold Killer”, it will cheerfully hand out headshots instead.
- The twist: After you have made 50 kills in one of the two modes, Skippy permanently switches to the other mode. So if you want to automatically aim at your opponents’ heads forever, you should first select the peaceful weapon setting.
- Questline: After a few days, Skippy talks to you again and tells you about the previous owner, Regina. This starts the questline “Machine Gun” and you have to return the gun to the fixer.
- You will find Regina in a building near Lizzie’s Club. If you turn in Skippy, you will receive 7000 Eurodollars. But you can also decide to keep the gun.
