Dredge: How to catch conger eels

by Pramith

Sea eels in Dredge are one of the more shy fish you can catch. You have to head for the storm cliffs to catch them

Dredge: Fishing for conger eels in detail

Dredge doesn’t make it easy for you to fish for conger eels. The fish can only be found in one place in the gloomy archipelago.

  • You can only fish for conger eels if you install a shallow-water fishing rod on your boat. You can purchase the Simple Skimmer for 75 dollars from the boat builder or the traveling dealer. This is perfectly adequate.
  • Then head to the storm cliffs in the south-east of the map. Then wait until night falls. Conger eels are shy and only venture out of their hiding places in the dark
  • One of the best locations for a successful catch is the rocky channel at O2. Look out for a landing stage with a camp and search for the fishing spots there.
  • You can also find conger eels to the south of O3 and at the northwest corner of P4. Be careful when entering these waters. There are many dangers lurking here
  • The eels themselves are not difficult to catch. If you don’t find any or not enough, moor at the next dock and take a break.
