Find Amber in LEGO Fortnite: Off to the desert
LEGO Fortnite doesn’t make it easy for you to find amber. The resource is only generated in deserts.
- In the desert biome, you can find amber on rock formations such as walls, inside canyons or larger clusters. So keep an eye out for it within the biome
- You can recognize the amber by its yellow color. The resin also glows a little, which can make the search easier.
- In LEGO Fortnite, there is no sure way to find a desert. You have to explore the world until you find the biome
LEGO Fortnite: Mine Amber
Once you have found amber deposits in LEGO Fortnite, all you have to do is mine the valuable resource.
- The hardened resin can only be mined with pickaxes of level Unusual or higher. This means that you must upgrade your workbench at least once to upgrade normal pickaxes
- For the first workbench upgrade, you need three tanks and eight planks. You can make planks from wood at the sawmill. You can obtain the armor either from certain opponents or from chests.
- You can then upgrade the pickaxe like Fortnite weapons. For the unusual pickaxe, you need three bones, which you can obtain from skeletons, and three gnarled roots. You can find the roots in caves and mine them with an improved forest axe.
- Then set off into a desert and search for amber. As the resource often spawns on higher rock faces, take wood for stairs with you as a precaution.
- Use stairs to build your way up until you reach the amber. Then all you have to do is mine it.
