The playtime for God of War: Ragnarok determines how long you will have fun with the grand finale of the popular GoW series. As always, your play style will determine how long it takes you to play through the game.

This is how long it takes to play God of War: Ragnarok

As with all parts of God of War, it is up to you whether you complete the main missions as quickly as possible or enjoyably explore the story around Kratos and Atreus.

• Speedrunner: If you only want to play the main missions of God of War: Ragnarok and always aim for the next quest marker immediately, you will need about 20 hours.

• Adventurer: Do you like to look around the world a bit, seek out a few optional bosses and want to help the NPCs with some problems? Then you can plan on spending about 30 to 40 hours.

• Completionist: For the 100 percent run, you can look forward to at least 50 hours of gameplay in GoW Ragnarok, more likely 60 to 70.
