You can fly in Horizon Forbidden West by bypassing one of the flying dinosaurs. To do this, all you have to do is follow the main quest.

• The pterosaur is unlocked towards the end of the game through the quest The Wings of Ten. In the mission, you are looking for a “sun wing”. This is a pterosaur.
• In the course of the quest you will find some sun wings and bridge them. After that, the pterosaur is available to you like any other mount in the game.
• For the rest of the game, the sun wing is at your disposal. You can call this at will. Flying opens up new possibilities for exploring the Open World in Horizon Forbidden West.
