In Minecraft, you can let your imagination run wild and create your own little world through “crafting.” We’ll show you how to build properly in our quick guide.
Minecraft: How “Crafting” Works:
“Crafting” refers to making various items from materials in the game Minecraft. In addition to wooden planks and torches, you can also craft tools, among other things. For more complex items, however, you’ll first need to craft a workbench. Here’s how:
- Open a 2×2 crafting grid by pressing the [E] key or, alternatively, by right-clicking to access your inventory.
- Then arrange the materials in the grid. Be sure to follow the correct order for crafting specific items.
- To do this, left-click to pick up an item or a stack of materials. Right-click to pick up half a stack and place items in the game.
- To the right of the crafting grid, you’ll see the final product, which appears when the materials are arranged in the correct order. Left-click on it to craft it.
- You can obtain multiple final products by holding down [Shift] and left-clicking. Tools, however, must be crafted individually and cannot be stacked.
