The powerful Dragon Priest masks in the role-playing game Skyrim aren’t always easy to find. Below, we’ll show you where to find them and reveal the special effects of these artifacts. Keep in mind, however, that to obtain a mask, you must always first defeat a powerful Dragon Priest.
Dragon Priest Masks in Skyrim: The Krosis Mask
You’ll find the Krosis Mask west of Windhelm in Shear’s Peak. It increases your Lockpicking, Marksmanship, and Alchemy skills by 20%.
The Morokai Mask
You’ll find the Morokai Mask southeast of Morthal in Labyrinthion. It’s also part of the final mission of the Winterhold College. It boosts your Magicka regeneration by a whopping 100%.
The Nahkriin Mask
The Nahkriin Mask is part of the final mission in the main quest and can only be obtained once. It is located in Skuldafi and increases your Magicka by 50%. Additionally, Destruction and Restoration spells require 20% less Magicka.
The Volsung Mask
You’ll find the Volsung Mask west of Solitude at the Volskygge Tomb. It reduces prices by 20% when trading with merchants. Your carrying capacity increases by 20 points, and you can breathe underwater.
The Vokun Mask
The Vokun Mask can be found halfway between Solitude and Dawnstar in the Hohentor Ruins. When you wear this mask, Conjuration, Illusion, and Alteration spells consume 20% less Magicka.
The Otar Mask
You can find the Otar Mask north of Markarth in Ragnvald. It increases resistance to fire, frost, and lightning.
The Hevnoraak Mask
The Hevnoraak Mask is hidden far southeast of Markarth in Valthume. It grants you immunity to diseases and poisons.
The Rahgot Mask
You’ll find the Rahgot Mask southeast of Rifton in Schützburg. It increases your stamina by 70 points.
The Wooden Mask
You’ll find a somewhat unusual wooden mask southeast of Morthal in the crumbling ruins next to a skeleton in Labyrinthion. It’s surrounded by a strange energy, but it doesn’t increase any ability points.
The Konahrik Mask
To obtain the Konahrik Mask, you must first possess all eight other masks and the Wooden Mask. It can also be found in Labyrinthion. With it, you can damage nearby enemies and heal yourself if your health is too low.
Dragon Priest Masks from the Dragonborn Expansion
By the way, the “Dragonborn” add-on has added four more Dragon Priest masks that you can wear as part of your armor:
- You can find the Zahkriisos Mask in the Bloodscald Burial Mound near the final entrance to Raven Rock, by the mine. It increases Lightning Resistance by 50% and Lightning Spell Damage by 25%.
- The Miraak Mask can be found with the black book “Waking Dreams” at the summit of Apocrypha near Miraak’s skeleton. It increases your Magicka by your current level: so if you’re at Level 40, you’ll gain an additional 40 Magicka.
- The Dukaan Mask is located at the Whitecrest Burial Mound southwest of the Stalhrim Deposit. It increases frost resistance by 50% and frost spell damage by 25%.
- You can find the Ahzidal Mask at Kolbjorn’s Burial Mound during the excavation. It increases your fire resistance by 50% and your fire spell damage by 25%.
